Course objectives are students to acquire skills in the following basic fields:

  • Study of theory and practice for condition assessment and static testing of structures and their elements;
  • Gain practical knowledge for working with measurement and diagnostic equipments for condition assessment and testing of structures and their elements;
  • Gain practical knowledge for experimental determination of stress-strain state of structural elements under static tests.

 

This course aims to help international students in the development of a course project in Steel Structures

This course contains notes and practical examples in English on geotechnical design of shallow and deep foundations, gravity and embedded retaining walls according to prescriptions of Eurocode 7 and partially based on Bulgarian National Annex. It is intended for students from English based course in Structural Engineering education.
